Pivot doors are the latest trend in oversized doors, providing a modern and sophisticated look to your space. They are easy to open while maintaing their monumental, modern and tall appearance. In pivot doors, the side hinges have been replaced with upper and lower hinges and the axis of rotation has been moved. All of this aspects result in much larger and heavier than an ordinary door with side hinges.

Glass pivot doors are glazed with triple-pane package window with the highest thermal insulation parameters (e.g. Ug = 0.5 W/(m2*K)) and glass with low-emission coatings.

The production of pivot doors with overlay panels comes in various styles and colours. Our offer includes doors in any colour from the RAL palette along with a wide range of wood-like decors, with steel and milled inlays as well as with and without integrated glass panes. Sintered quartz, corten (a rust-like look) as well as natural stone veeners are decorative elements that can be chosen in order to distinguish your door. A novelty are models with lacobel glass which creates a beautiful uniform surface with a high gloss finish. Tempered glass with a thickness of up to 6 mm with ground edges is used in our doors.

To emphasize the unique character of the entrance, the pivot door can be extended with additional side and top lights with any type of glass or a decorative glass with a design matching the pattern of the door leaf/slab. The possibilities are virtually endless.

Unique entrance door

The MasterLine 8 pivot door system from Reynaers is an innovative approach to entrance doors. The construction allows to create very large structures that can be glazed or made with a panel. Several versions are available within the system including fully glazed doors. The system can also be used instead of typical sliding or folding terrace doors which can have a remarkable effect.

The MasterLine 8 pivot door system provides excellent thermal insulation and tightness. Pivot doors are also available with burglary protection or it can be taken further and a door can be combined with a home automatics (opening and closing the door with a code or a finger scanner).

Our doors are equipped with a tripe plane glass that is connected by three spacing frames, two of which are covered with Low-E coatings

Safety glass

For an extra charge we have in our offer a safety glass option.

The safety glass consists of two glass panes joined together with a laminated PVB foil. This solution is used in for instance the windscreens of passenger cars because of its shatterproof function and strength. Additionally, it provides better sound insulation.

P4 glass – increased resistance to damage / burglary

P4 glass type with higher resistance to damage e.g. VSG 44.4 where glass panes are connected with 4 layers of protective foils.

The strength of P4 glass is confirmed in laboratory tests. During the tests, the glass must withstand a three-time impact with a 4.11 kg steel ball dropped from a height of 9 m. This type of glass is characterised by the highest resistance to manual attack for instance with a hammer weighing several kilograms.

Warm spacer frames

A spacer frame is the basic element of joining the space between the panes in a glass. It is normally filled with 90% argon which is a non-toxic, insulating dense type of gas and 10% air. It allows to obtain a heat transfer coefficient of up to Ug = 0.4 W/m²K.

Warm, Swisspacer Ultimate spacers (available in 6 colors) are used as standard in our glazed units. They are recommended for energy-saving construction thanks to a significant reduction in the heat transfer coefficient. Due to the extremely thin gaps between the panes Krypton is used which is a gas that performs best as an insulator when used in such configurations.

Types of glazing

There is a wide range of glass options. In our offer one will find energy-saving, sound-absorbing, safety, anti-burglary and sunscreen windows. The most popular ones are milk glass, decorative or mirror glass as well as bronze reflex glass.

Colours can emphasise the shape of aluminium joinery and provide it with individual character and genuine appearance. All aluminium systems offered by our company are available in two colour palettes – RAL and DECORAL.

If you prefer a door with a traditional and wood-look design an aluminum panel can be made with a natural wooden decor that is carefully selected and perfectly impregnated. Each of the wooden decors is characterized by a unique grain that gives authenticity and nobility. Wooden elements are available in 6 colors: Natural Oak, Brendy Oak, Amaranth Oak, Whisky Oak, Straw Oak, Honey Oak.

Touch line handles are made of the highest quality materials. They are available in anodized versions (covered with a layer of aluminum oxide) and powder coated in the entire range of the RAL palette (400 + colors).

Stainless steel door handles are designed for one or two-sided use for external doors.

Multipoint locking system Fuhr 833

Automatic multipoint locking system with a deadlocking latch.

Fuhr lock is the excellent locking system that guarantees comfort as well as security. The lock function ensures reliable, automatic locking and protection against uninvited guests. All you have to do is pull the door closed.

After closing the door, our three-point locking system protects against door warping, offering long-lasting seal tightness and a thermal efficiency.

 

The most important features:

Convenient opening – Effortless key operation thanks to two-stage opening sequence from the outside or using the lever handle from the inside.

Increased heat insulation – The multipoint locking system prevents the door from warping to ensure consistent seal tightness around the whole door leaf/slab.

Reliability and durability – long service life is guaranteed and has been tested with over 200,000 cycles.

Locking the lock:
  • After closing the door, the latch in the main lock and additional bolts automatically lock the door.
  • A single turn of the key causes the bolt of the main lock to be activated.
Unlocking the lock:
  • Turning the key once withdraws both lock and bolts.
  • Pressing the handle down causes the latch to be automatically released and allows to open the door.
