There is a huge range of choices in glazing, for instance: energy-saving, sound-absorbing, safety, anti-burglary and solar glass.
Solar glass
This category includes several types of special-purpose glazing designed to reduce the effect of the sun in interiors – both in terms of heat transfer and excessive light penetration. The most common solutions are milk glass, glass with one-way mirror effect as well as bronze reflex glass.
Thermal insulating glass – energy efficient
This type of glazing is designed to provide the best possible thermal insulation of a room, which is especially important in temperate climates, where there are significant temperature differences between seasons. Thermal insulating glazing is covered with an extremely thin layer of precious metals, so in winter it minimizes heat loss from the room, while in summer it prevents excessive heating.
Sound-absorbing glazing
Sound-absorbing glazing provides excellent sound insulation along with comfort for people in rooms whose windows face, for example, busy streets (low-frequency sounds) or children’s playgrounds (high-frequency sounds). The effect of sound-absorbing glass is related to the thickness of the glass – the thicker the glass, the better it protects against outside noise. Such glazing can be made of ordinary glass, tempered glass or laminated glass with a film. The space between the layers of glass is filled with heavy gases.
Safety glass
Safety glass is usually layered glass or glass made of laminated or tempered glass that does not shatter into small fragments when broken. This type of glazing primarily provides protection against injury from glass shards.
Anti-burglary glass
Burglar-proof glass, as the name suggests, protects windows from a burglary. Mostly they are layered glass, made of two layers of glass and between 2 to 4 layers of PVB film. The film strengthens the structure of the glass – the more layers of film, the more resistant the glass is to mechanical damage. We can divide anti-burglary glass into 8 classes: P1A, P2A, P3A, P4A, P5A, P6B, P7B and P8B. The strength of glazing in each class varies significantly. For example, according to the standard, glazing of the P3A class can replace the grid made of Ø10 steel wire, with meshes up to 150 mm, while glazing of the P8B class replaces the grid made of steel bars with diameters up to Ø16.
The standard color of IDEAL 4000 windows is white (natural PVC). However, special veneers can be applied to them, which decorate and add character. Depending on your needs, veneers can be applied on one side (outside or inside), or on both sides.
The color palette is rich and allows customization for any project.
WOOD finish
A faithfully preserved appearance of real wood and a unique character combined with all the advantages of a UPVC window – this is what the new wood finish offers.
