Glazing

The glass in our doors are triple-pane windows. All panes are connected with spacer frames. Two of them are covered with Low-E coatings that provide natural light while helping to limit heat gain and thermal energy loss. It is also possible to choose P4 anti-burglary glass or safety glass VSG 33.1

Types of glazing

There is a wide range of glass options. In our offer one will find energy-saving, sound-absorbing, safety, anti-burglary and sunscreen windows. The most popular ones are milk glass, decorative or mirror glass as well as bronze reflex glass.

Light permeability of the glass:

- Milk – frosted glass 89%
- Mirror glass – 68 %
- Bronze Reflex glass – 42 %

One way mirror glass has a thin layer of reflective coating which allows the glass to reflect half the light that hits it. Simultaneously, half the light also goes straight through. This makes the glass both reflective and transparent. During the day, the outside is bright which means that people who are outside are not able to see what is inside the house. However, during the night when the light is on, the one-way mirror turns into a window. People are able to see through the glass both ways.

To solve the issue, one can apply the one-way vision foil. The foil consists of hundreds of small holes enabling light penetration, which gives the effect of semi-transmission. It is usually used for advertisement on buses or windows.

T-bar - long vertical handle or normal handle:

Stainless steel door handles are designed for one or two-sided use for external doors.
The innovative mounting system enables quick and easy installation of the door handle. Our offer includes many handrails:

T-bar Straight, circular shape 1200 mm / 47.2"

T-bar Straight, rectangular shape 1600 mm / 59.0"

YES, round arch silver 1200 mm / 47.2"

Lever Handle vs T-bar Pull Handle

1. If you have a Lever handle/normal handle from the outside, you can release the latch without using a key from outside. You simply push the Lever handle down and the latch will retract allowing you to open the door.

2. If you have a T-bar long handle from the outside, it has no way to release the latch because it is only used for pushing and pulling the door. So in this situation from the outside you always need keys to re.lease the latch. Then insert the keys into the key hole and turn to release the latch and open the door.

3. We offer a third additional option if the customer decides to purchase a T-bar. When selecting the T-bar on our website, you can additionally order a Knob Handle that will be installed together with the T-bar from the outside. This door Knob Handle will allow you to release the latch from the outside. So you can order Tbar + Knob which is quite small and looks quite nice.

Multi-point lock system

  • steel hooks and pins
  • Three-dimensional locking with integrated hooks and metal pins for optimal security.
  • Pressure adjustment.

How measure the hole in the wall for door installation

The picture shows the dimensions of the door with the frame and how to measure the opening for door installation. Please take the measure from the floor "tile or wooden panel" inside the house to the top brick level.

The space for the door installation should be between minimum 5mm to 20mm larger than the overall size of the door with the frame. This space is necessary as it should be filled with foam during the installation. This will also ensure insulation between the wall and the door frame.

Your Rating

Magellan is a beautiful steel front door designed for homeowners who want their entrance to look refined, secure, and unmistakably high quality. It combines the strength and reliability of a modern steel construction with an elegant, carefully balanced design that instantly enhances the character and curb appeal of your home.

From the very first glance, Magellan impresses with its confident presence and harmonious proportions. The door leaf has a clean, solid appearance, with lines and details that feel deliberate rather than busy. Depending on the chosen design variant, it can feature subtle paneling, glazed inserts, or minimalist detailing that turns the entrance into a focal point without overpowering the façade. Whether your home is contemporary, classic, or somewhere in between, Magellan is created to blend seamlessly into the architecture while still standing out for its quality.

At the heart of Magellan is a robust steel construction. Steel is inherently strong and impact-resistant, which makes it an ideal material for a front door that must withstand daily use, changing weather, and potential attempts at forced entry. The door leaf and frame are engineered to remain stable and true over time, resisting warping or twisting even under demanding conditions. This structural integrity translates into a door that feels solid every time you open and close it, with a reassuring sense of weight and security.

Despite its strength, Magellan is far from industrial in appearance. The steel surface is finished with a high-quality coating system designed specifically for exterior use. This coating creates a durable, UV-resistant and weather-resistant barrier that protects the door from rain, sun, and temperature changes while keeping the color rich and even. A wide range of finishes is typically available: from deep, sophisticated tones like anthracite, black, and dark bronze, to softer greys, whites, and custom colors that coordinate perfectly with your windows, façade materials, and exterior details. The result is a front door that looks refined and stays attractive over the long term.

Security is one of Magellan’s core strengths. The combination of a solid steel door leaf, a strong frame, and advanced locking hardware provides a reliable barrier against intrusion. Multi-point locking systems can secure the door at several positions along the frame, making it significantly more difficult to force open. High-security cylinders, reinforced keeps, hinge security pins, and optional additional locking points can all be specified to meet elevated security expectations. With Magellan, the sense of beauty at the entrance is backed by real, tangible protection.

Thermal comfort and energy performance are also carefully considered. Modern steel doors like Magellan are not just a sheet of metal; they typically incorporate an insulated core and thermally optimized profiles that help reduce heat transfer. Combined with quality perimeter seals and a well-designed threshold, the door helps keep warm air inside during cooler months and reduces heat gain in hotter weather. This supports a more stable indoor climate and helps improve the energy efficiency of the building. Effective sealing also minimizes drafts and helps keep out wind-driven rain, dust, and exterior noise, so the entrance feels as comfortable as it looks.

In daily use, Magellan is designed to feel smooth, stable, and effortless. High-quality hinges and precisely matched hardware ensure the door opens and closes with a controlled, reassuring motion, without rattling or flexing. The door’s weight and balance have been carefully considered so that it feels substantial without being difficult to handle. Threshold options can be adapted to your needs: from low, accessible thresholds that support step-free entry and modern living, to more pronounced versions that emphasize the separation between outside and inside while still delivering strong sealing performance.

One of the major advantages of a steel door like Magellan is its low maintenance. Unlike traditional timber doors, which often require regular sanding, repainting, and protection against warping or rot, a steel door with a quality coating is designed to retain its appearance with minimal effort. The surface is resistant to peeling and flaking, and under normal conditions, occasional cleaning with mild soapy water is usually enough to keep the door looking fresh and well cared for. This ease of upkeep makes Magellan a smart long-term choice for busy households and anyone who values durability and practicality alongside good design.

Design flexibility is an essential part of Magellan’s appeal. The door can be configured in different styles to suit your home: from almost flush, minimalist designs that suit modern architecture, to more articulated layouts with glass inserts, side panels, or top lights that bring natural light into the hallway. Glazing options can range from clear to frosted or patterned glass, balancing privacy with daylight. Decorative elements can remain subtle and contemporary or lean more toward classic styling, depending on your preference. In every case, the emphasis is on clean lines, quality finishes, and a coherent look that complements the rest of the building.

Hardware selection allows you to fine-tune the final impression. You can choose from a wide variety of handle styles, from long vertical pull bars that emphasize height and modernity, to more traditional lever handles for a familiar, everyday feel. Hardware finishes such as stainless steel, black, or color-matched tones make it easy to coordinate with other exterior elements, like window frames, railings, lighting, and house numbers. These details, while small, play a crucial role in making the entrance feel thought-through and complete.

Magellan is suited to a broad range of residential applications. In new builds, it provides a strong, modern front door solution that instantly raises the perceived value of the property and reinforces the architectural vision. In renovation projects, it can replace an older, less efficient door with a secure, insulated, visually appealing alternative that refreshes the entire frontage. It is especially attractive for homeowners who want the reassurance of steel construction without sacrificing elegance and design.

In summary, Magellan is a beautiful steel front door that successfully combines aesthetics, strength, and comfort. It offers the visual presence of a carefully designed entrance, backed by the durability of a robust steel structure, dependable security, reliable thermal performance, and low maintenance. If you want your front door to look impressive, feel solid, and perform flawlessly year after year, Magellan is a compelling, future-ready choice.
